Project Overview
JL Electric was appointed to deliver a full-scale electrical installation for a substantial four-bedroom, four-bathroom family villa, set within expansive landscaped grounds and benefiting from sea views. The project encompassed both interior and exterior works, requiring a coordinated and detail-driven approach across all stages of the build.
Scope of Works
Externally, JL Electric worked alongside lighting designers to deliver the full electrical infrastructure for the external lighting scheme, including first-fix installation, airtight channeling, cable management, terminations, programming, and seamless integration with the home automation system. This comprehensive approach ensured that the landscape lighting was precisely positioned to enhance the garden, pathways, and architectural features of the property while maintaining both performance and design integrity. The swimming pool systems were also fully integrated, including electrical connections, lighting, associated plant equipment, and control systems, ensuring functionality, safety, and ease of operation.
Internally, the property combines a traditional design aesthetic with a highly advanced electrical infrastructure. JL Electric implemented a complete electrical fit-out, including bespoke decorative lighting installations tailored to each room. This approach allowed for a layered lighting scheme, balancing ambient, task, and accent lighting to complement the character of the home while providing modern flexibility.
Underfloor heating systems were installed throughout the villa, contributing to a high level of comfort and energy efficiency. In addition, JL Electric integrated a comprehensive security system, including alarm systems, external surveillance, and controlled access points, ensuring peace of mind for the occupants.
The project also involved the installation of all power distribution systems, including consumer units, cabling, and a full network of sockets and switches. These were customised in specification and placement to suit the client’s lifestyle and interior layout, reflecting a highly tailored approach. Data cabling, television points, and smart home infrastructure were also incorporated, enabling seamless connectivity and future-proofed living.
Outcome
Given the scale and complexity of the villa, the project required close collaboration across teams and meticulous planning to ensure timely delivery. The result is a residence that retains its traditional charm while benefiting from a sophisticated, high-performance electrical system designed for modern living.
